co-hosted by Wasauksing First Nation and Shawanaga First Nation. This year's theme, E'Shkiniigijig Bi-Bzigwiiwag – The Youth Are Rising, celebrates the voices, leadership, and future of our youth while bringing together community members, Elders, knowledge holders, leadership, and partners from across the Robinson Huron Treaty Territory.

If you are planning to attend the 2026 Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering, we encourage you to register in advance. Registration is available online or in person when you arrive at the Gathering.

Youth Arts Showcase

Calling all Anishinaabe youth artists, creators, storytellers, musicians, photographers, poets, and performers!

As part of the 2026 Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 Gathering, we're inviting youth to showcase their talents and creativity through visual arts, photography, digital media, storytelling, spoken word, music, traditional arts, and more.

Wednesday, September 9th, 2026

7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Evening)

Priority participation will be given to youth from our host communities, Wasauksing First Nation and Shawanaga First Nation, followed by youth from across the Robinson Huron Treaty Territory.

Vendor Information

Vendor registration is now open for the 2026 Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering. We welcome Indigenous artisans, businesses, organizations, community groups, and food vendors to join us in celebrating Anishinaabe culture, community, and the Robinson Huron Treaty.


Space is limited and vendors are encouraged to register early. Please complete the Vendor Registration Form to reserve your space. Additional information regarding vendor requirements and event logistics will be provided following registration.

Helper Registratrion

The Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering is made possible through the dedication of volunteers and community helpers. Whether you can assist for a few hours or throughout the Gathering, your support helps create a welcoming and meaningful experience for everyone.


Helper opportunities include registration support, wayfinding, Elder support, traffic assistance, kitchen support, stage assistance, firekeepers, clean-up, general event support, and more.

Gathering Accommodations

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2026 Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering in Wasauksing First Nation, September 8–10, 2026.


As September is a busy tourism season in the Parry Sound and Muskoka regions, accommodations continue to fill quickly. We encourage all attendees to book their accommodations as soon as possible.


Please note that, due to individual hotel and motel booking policies, no public room blocks have been secured for the Gathering.

Accommodation availability is subject to change. We encourage you to contact properties directly to confirm availability and make your reservation.

    Please note that while there is **no room block available at the JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa**, it remains an excellent option for attendees who are still seeking accommodations.


    If accommodations in the Parry Sound area are unavailable, we also encourage attendees to explore lodging options in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, and Port Severn. These communities are within a reasonable driving distance of Wasauksing First Nation and may offer additional hotel, motel, cottage, and resort accommodations.
